What is LawCare?
LawCare is a charity registered in England and Wales (no. 1061685) and Scotland (no. SCO39335). It was established in 1997 and is funded by donations from the professional bodies which represent and regulate the legal professions in the UK, Ireland, and the Isle of Man, including the Law Society of Ireland and the Bar Council of Ireland. LawCare Training Seminars
LawCare offers CPD accredited presentations and seminars funded by the Law Society of Ireland. Mary Jackson, Irish Co-Ordinator for LawCare, has been back to the following Bar Associations this year for a second seminar: Clare, Cork, Kerry, Galway, Mayo, Monaghan, Meath, Sligo, Waterford, Wexford.
More seminars are still available outside those areas.Topics covered include Stess Recognition & Management, Time Management, Effective Use of Email, The Lawyer Lifestyle and Vicarious Trauma.
At the end of September Mary is going to Limerick, Tipperary and West Cork.
