    I Can't Cope!

  • If the stress is too much, STOP! Take a deep breath, stand up and stretch your tired muscles. Take a break.

  • Ask yourself whether this will really matter in five hours (or five days) time, and what is the worst thing that would happen if you didn’t do it.

  • Think about what you have to do, and prioritise. Don’t set yourself unattainable targets, but congratulate yourself when you get just the most important job done.

  • If you feel hopeless and pessimistic, cannot concentrate or make decisions and no longer find pleasure in former interests or hobbies, consult a doctor immediately as you may be suffering from clinical depression.

Call LawCare on one of the numbers on the home page or click here for more advice on coping with stress, learning to meditate and stretch, time management and other helpful information. This page also includes information on depression and some more detailed questions to discover whether you may be suffering from this illness.
