The Law Society of Ireland has engaged Psychology at Work, to conduct a full, objective review of existing mental health and wellbeing supports offered by the Society.
Psychology at Work will also provide an independent report setting out their professional opinion on these supports and recommending options available to the Society to strengthen them. The focus primarily will be on the need for a mental health support service specialising in crisis prevention and intervention, to include suicidality.
As part of their methodology, Psychology at Work will conduct four focus groups with members of the profession, from across the country. These will assist them to gain a comprehensive understanding of the profession’s views on existing services, their usefulness, any barriers to their use etc. It will also help them to formulate the questions for a subsequent survey of the profession.
If you would be interested in participating in a focus group, please email Psychology at Work directly at firstname.lastname@example.org. They will select the right mix of participants to best reflect the profile of the profession. More information here.
